A family friendly tour!

The ideal tour for bird watchers and nature lovers!  This tour begins in the harbor just 4 miles south of Mazatlan.  See shrimp, tuna and Mexican navy boats and the Pacifico Brewery.  Then delight in a guided cruise down mangrove-lined waterways in Mexico's largest estuary/wetland system.  Explore the private world of the Mexican Brown Pelican, Blue Heron, Sea Hawk, Osprey and other exotic wildlife in this protected wildlife refuge.

Disembark at a native farm for a snack.  A short walking tour will acquaint you with the variety of fruit trees grown in the surrounding plantations.  Board transportation for a ride through the coconut plantation to a secluded, private beach.  You'll have an hour and a half to go horseback riding, work on your tan, or stroll down the beach while looking for huge sand dollars.  Be sure to ask your guide about the Sea Turtle Protection Group (SToP).  There is also ample shade for relaxing out of the sun.

On the way to the restaurant for lunch, you will be serenaded with Mexican music. At the restaurant, your hostess will be waiting with a delicious jungle-style lunch of fresh BBQ fish, Mexican rice, refried beans, homemade tortillas, and coconut candy desert.
(A non-fish lunch is also available.)

You will leave the restaurant about 2:30 pm. Have your cameras ready to photograph the Pelican and Frigate bird show on the way back to the dock. We will provide you with fish to feed the birds. The more daring ones will take the fish right out of your hand!
