MZT-105 - Colonial & City Tour
|
 |
A family friendly tour!
From
Mazatlan, this tour heads south on Highway 15. Your first stop
will be a brick yard, where bricks have been made by hand for hundreds
of years. Traveling further south, you'll head east on Highway 40
toward the Sierra Madre Mountains to the small town of Malpica.
Here you will see beautiful floor tiles made in a 100-year old tile
press, visit a bakery for pastries cooked in an oven of brick and mud,
tour a colonial-style furniture factory, and meet artisans making red
clay roof tiles and pottery.
Next you are on your way to
Concordia, a beautiful town founded in 1565 as Villa De San Sebastian.
Here you'll visit the historic church, city hall and main plaza, all
great spots for photo opportunities.
This tour also includes
all the highlights of the City
Tour.
